What a good idea for next to the sewing machine. I'll bet the instructions in that PDF file would work for a curling iron bag, too, with a bit of modifying. Thanks for sharing!

Mary...your ironing pad turned out very nice. I've been considering buying a mini iron, thinking it might not heat my sewing room as much as the regular iron [for summer]. Glad to hear that it works great. Maybe you could do a 'notion review' on it? Just to add a tidbit of info...travel irons/mini irons are what quilters take with them to class or other sewing get-togethers, too, and when it's time to go home, they have hot irons to carry.
