I agree that the pattern envelope is not flattering to the pattern but you look TERRIFIC in this style. It was worth it to expand your fashion horizons.

Looks wonderful! I've stayed away from this pattern for the reason you identified--no waist shaping! Yours looks great with your tweak to that area.
