I'm a hat lover too - also with a pin head. Your proportions look great. Just a thought, would a child's hat pattern work better than an adults? I should give it a go myself. Happy hat hunting :-)

I like C and D quite a bit out of this one. I made D using a pink leopard print faux suede that has rhinestones on it. I did not choose that fabric, my daughter did. I wanted it to be heavier and soft, so I lined it with grey wooly cotton. The overall effect, barring the print, is nice. I'm Handing the pink one off to the daughter and making a brown courderoy one for myself
