Your jeans are GREAT!! I have this pattern and have hesitated to make it despite having a need for jeans and 5 yards of dark denim in my stash.. Thanks for a great review.

Beautiful jeans Sue Parrott, I am working on them at the moment but was not lucky like you to get a good fit, I made three muslins and finally have the fit nailed down. I am making them shorts for now and will do pants later this year. Thanks for your inspiring review!

I don't see saddle bags and wouldn't necessarily make them bigger next time. I have that dent-thing going in my bum but found that a bit thicker denim helped even things out. Don't be afraid of rivets. I went through h--- and back trying to figure them out due to an idea that I had a better way to do it. They are very easy. I really like your jeans and think they look great on you! More Jalie jeans to come.
