Thanks for the insightful review. I have this pattern too, I will be sure to use a smaller size and maybe a knit.

Welcome to PR and thanks for your first review - very helpfu re sizing and am sorry it did not work out so well for you. As you say could be the fabric or the pattern - I find that very often those that have under bust gathers can make for a preggie look. Look forward to more of your reviews

I was checking reviews on this top before I made it for my plus size daughter, and appreciate your review. The one thing I noticed when trying to determine size for her is the huge amount of ease in this top. On a size 20W it states the body bust measurement is 42" but the finished bust measurement is 49". That is 7" inches of ease! That is incredible for a non-stretch fabric! I want to make a knit so definitely want almost no ease. I can see that this is a real problem with the pattern!
