Love your dress! Very beautiful. I too have fba trauma! I use a variety of methods to include palmer pletch 'Fit for Real Peaple>' I have the workbook and dvd and refer to both regularly. I reconmend you invest in both and practice their method of pattern adjustment. Also, Surefit designs basic dress pattern. With Surefit, you plot out you measurements to make a basic block from which you can then use for anything. You can then use the palmer pletch fit method to do the minor tweaking. I think both methods compliment eachother, or they do in my case. They both have websites and are very different in their approach to fit.

So pretty in your dress! FBA is a necessary alteration for me, too. Palmer/Pletsch has a DVD especially on that topic; it's really useful. It's called "Full-Busted? Sew Clothes That Fit." Marta covers various clothing styles, from the basic darted or princess seam to wraps and crossovers. But keep on sewing. You're doing lovely work!
