The dress is super cute and I love the sleeves! I hadn't realised this pattern came with a tulip sleeve option.

I really like the those sleeves as well but others' experiences with the skirt is offputting. I think your treatment of the skirt is superior to the original.

Thank you. Yes, the overlay as shown in the pattern did not work well. I think it may work with a fabric with a very good drape so we used the overlay pieces but sewed them into the waist around the whole dress and added the tucks to the overlay to add interest and body. I can't recall if it came with the tulip sleeve or if we added that.
