Thanks for posting this! I have a lightweight rayon and was thinking this might be the pattern for it. I agree with you on the pockets -- I don't want anything bulging out at my hips. :)

I have made this several times out of various knits, including lace. I just omit the front facing altogether and serge the whole thing, using folled edge or 3 thread narrow flat hem on all edges. You can lettuce leaf the hem if desired. Fun! No pockets is right!
