That is definitely fun and pretty. (I had wondered about the fabric dragging, too. I think you need an entourage of ladies/minions following you to gently lift the hem . . . or perhaps spreading a velvet walkway ahead of you. Anyway, best of luck protecting your marvelous creation.)

Beautiful costume, works great for a ren fair, and will be perfect for Rowena Ravenclaw! I love this pattern, an I know what you mean about the train fraying. I just spend an hour fixing the frayed back of mine from 2 years of damage. Still worth it though!! Your color is gorgeous!
