This looks like a pretty dress in the thumbnail. I wish it would blow up bigger so I could see the details. I had a Dorothy dress when I was a child and I loved it. I am sure your granddaughter will love wearing this dress and pinafore.

I'm making the pinafore right now for my daughter for Halloween and I am STUCK on the directions for the bib! I'm also somewhat of a beginner when it comes to following patterns, but it seems like in one picture, the bottom of the strap opens out on the outside of the bib, and on the next, the same strap opens on the inside... And the bottom of the straps are only open on one side... Do you remember that being confusing at all? Any tips on what they mean? All they say is basically, "lay straps on bib, pin, stitch, handsew facing over seam." Nothing about what the openings are supposed to do, really... and the pictures confuse me! Any help would be appreciated... thanks!
