Very nice. fourkid, I'm curious about this twill tape. If I went to Joann's, what would they call it and where would I find it in the store? Also, last time I was in a sporting goods store I saw that some of the athletic shorts had a drawstring that looked just like the old style shoe lace--flat and with plasticized tab ends.

I am not sure if I bought the twill tape - or if it was in the stuff I have been given over the last couple years. The kind I have is by Wright's and just says twill tape right on it. It comes in different widths - but I have only seen the colors in black or white. It works very well for a drawstring. I just cut the ends at an angle and tie a knot. It seems to work.

These look very nice! Great gifts! Renren, sometimes there is twill tape that is prepackaged and found in the same display as the bias tape/hem tape, etc. Or there might be twill tape cut from a roll, maybe found near elastic/cording/etc. if the store sells that kind of thing from rolls at all.
