Sounds like you had your work cut out for you, the picture is a little grainy when I opened it, but from what I could see, it looks fab

Sorry I missed this review till now. Glad to hear of your success with this pattern, but sorry to hear the pockets didn't turn out to your satisfaction. I still haven't sewn this, but have studied the pattern pieces and I think with the gussets and little darts a slightly 3-D effect may be intended - you probably didn't do anything wrong. It looks good, so enjoy!
