| Pattern Description:
I call these yoga pants... my mom calls them dress pants. I made these for my mom.
3 piece yoga pants, 2" waistband with 2" elastic.
Pattern Sizing:Misses 4-26W. I made a size 10. (in the big 4, i would generally make a 12)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? yes, these pants go together really quick: front, back, waistband; done.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? comfortable! and my mom loves the wide waistband that doesn't dig into her.
Fabric Used: a nice medium weight cotton lycra knit. I adjusted the color on the photo so you could see the seams, but it's a really nice black black.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: The version for my mom, I raised the rise by 3" as these pants sit about 2" below your natural waist in the front and my mom likes them all the way up to her waist. I made these for her with just her measurements as she lives in another state. She gave me her waist measurement and her inside seam measurement. They came our really nice. Next time I think I'll take a bit out below the seat in the back. Click Here for back view
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? yes. these are great pants and my mom wants a lot more.
Conclusion: great pants for dress, yoga, lounging, or casual wear.

Love this pattern, I asked for it for Christmas! Your pants turned out fabulous. Great idea to make the waist fit higher for your Mom.

I'm glad the pants were so well received by your mom and I would say you got a very good fit for doing this by mail. The wider waistband using 2 inch elastic sounds like a great idea for both sleekness and comfort.
