This is my favourite version of the Lonsdale so far! I am like you: very attracted to maxi dresses and not a poofy skirt kind of girl, so I was gonna make the short version with a narrower skirt, but seeing the drape and flow of yours makes me want to do a long one now! I love it in the challis, but you're right, a lightweight linen would be perfect too! :)
