Pattern Sizing: I used a combination of 8, 10, and 12 for a better fit.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, but fitting can be difficult, especially for beginners. Take time to fit the corset first to avoid disappointments later. The best way to fit this corset, IMHO, is to use different sized pieces to achieve the perfect fit. It took me four or five tries until I found the right sizes pieces that work for my body.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I cut off 1" from the top and bottom for a better fit. I removed the center busk. The construction method is easy to follow, though I used a different technique to sew the corset. The method I use allows the corset to become reversible.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I've made at least five corsets using this pattern. Thank goodness for 0.99 pattern sales. I recommend this pattern to others.

I like to go to renaissance faires and play a "pirate wench". A great excuse to wear corsets in all sorts of patterns! Like this one: http://dressdiary.blogspot.com/2011/10/red-and-black-pirate-complete.html or this one http://dressdiary.blogspot.com/2011/11/very-pirate-christmas-complete.html It's what keeps me sane. :) 12/6/11 2:17 PM
