Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes. I made the XL dress view B.
Were the instructions easy to follow?Had no trouble with anything except zipper instructions. I have trouble with those and end up doing my own thing.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I think the pattern is very cute on little girls. I have made 3 different sizes now.
Fabric Used:Michael Miller Oriental Kids cotton fabric.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:Didn't deviate from the pattern. I made this to coordinate with the green coat I made from McCall 5739. It came out wonderful. The pink flower is detachable. Dress and Coat together
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes and Yes. It is easy pattern and can be sewn in a couple of hours by intermediate sewers. It includes lining so make sure you have that before starting (made that mistake the first time around)
Conclusion: I really like this classic pattern and have made it multiple times by now. |
