Pattern Description:
Coat with hood Pattern Sizing:
size 7 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!! I think it looks alot like the finished pattern on the envelope! very pleased
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, I had sewn another coat before this one out of polar fleece What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The finished product! Its alot of sewing with all the seams and topstitching but it makes for a very nice looking jacket when finished! Fabric Used:
supplex type fabric, I believe it was Toray Entrant, purchased off of ebay. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made a lining for this jacket from fleece, so I really made two jackets.
I sealed all the seams so that jacket would really be waterproof ( warning, it's ALOT of seams to seal!) Sealing seams
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes!! I think this is such a fantastic pattern! my sisters BF was really impressed & had to really do a double take with this coat, he couldn't believe it was 'home made'
Conclusion:
Highly recommend this pattern!! I still consider myself a beginner sewer and this coat was easy to make, along with pretty easy to figure out how to line!
