All three of your versions look lovely. I have the downloadable pattern and I am surprised by how much fabric it says you need - did you find that you needed that much? (Obviously I haven't laid it out yet to determine if it's correct - haven't taped the print out together yet, that's quite a mission)

I just bought this pattern, and I'm so glad I came across your review. I really like your cotton version. It does drape differently than your silky version, and it is very pretty. I'm planning to make the dress in cotton, and your cotton version is spurring me on. Thanks for the review!

Hi tiger girl, sorry for delayed response. I can't remember how much fabric I had left over - I dont remember there being a lot extra. I would recommend raising the ties up though and there is a lot of fabric in the dress itself which could always be modified.
