I've seen a variation with a zippered pocket for valuables: a very unlikely place for a thief to look!

Hadn't thought about these! I've been crocheting hanger covers but these might be more versatile. They could be used to cover the clothes or by adding a couple of snaps or velcro, be used for hanger covers to keep clothes on the hangers. Great idea.
