Pattern Description: Mens suit jacket pattern

Pattern Sizing:I made a size 44

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?yes, I don't make changes o this pattern.

Were the instructions easy to follow?I read these instructions everytime because I have not made enough lined jackets to just breeze through it. I have made this pattern three or four times and I understand one more section each time. The instructions are pretty sparse. All insruction for the entire jacket lining and all is on one page in tiny writing. Problem is I have made this pattern enough times I am goign to have to retrace some peices as they have torn where I use my marking wheel.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?The pattern fits DH well and he likes it so we will keep it. Who wants to start over with all new peices. I don't understand parts of the pattern, I have a hard time attaching the lining This is my issue and not burda's I think

Fabric Used: I used a nice boucle wool fabric I got from Fabric Mart (my new favorite fabic store) and some nice satin I got at joannes. I don't like to use conventional lining because I like the feel of a rich thick silkiness next to my skin so I figure DH does as well. NOTE TO OTHERS: boucle wool stretches and moves more like a knit than a woven. I had to use my walking foot to keep it together.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:The only change I made was to shorten the Sleeves.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? It is a nice jacket pattern and I like it ok the instructions are not clear if you have never made a jacket before or are a newbie to sewing. I will sew it again because I don't want to start all over with another pattern or company. jacket lining

Conclusion: I still am having trouble attaching the lining I got it in it looks OK and doesn't pull the jacket anywhere.
