Pattern Description:
Basic pants with side zip, darts front and back and no waistband.

Pattern Sizing:
This is straight size 16.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, the picture pretty well reflected how the finished pants looked.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes. These are simple pants and the instructions were fine.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
This is a nice simple pattern for a simple pair of pants.

Fabric Used:
100% linen from The Fabric Store.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
The pattern has you finish the waistline with twill tape. I used a strip of fabric from the selvedge instead, as I liked the look of it (and I had no matching twill tape). It seems to be firm enough. I used an invisible zip rather than a regular one.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
These is a great basic pants pattern so I do recommend it. There are some other nice items in the envelope so you get a bit for your money with this one. I expect I will sew these again.

Conclusion:
These were quick, easy and fit nicely on first go. Can't ask for more than that! More photos here .
