Pattern Description: Misses' knit dress in two lengths with bodice variations
Pattern Sizing:Standard Big 4 sizing. I downloaded from printsew.com the 12 to 20 size. I used size 16 but could have easily used a 14.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were easy but I followed the order of construction set out by Austragirl (Thank you!). It made much more sense than constructing the entire bodice, then the skirt then hoping you didn't have to make any adjustments to the midriff.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? It's not really a dislike, but I do get annoyed when pattern companies don't give you the order of construction that would logically make more sense. Like setting in sleeves instead of sewing them in flat when you can. Or sewing the side seams last so you can easily tweak the fit if you need to.
Fabric Used: Polyester knit I got on ebay. I also made this dress in another poly knit that I also got from ebay.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I took in the sides to what would probably equate to a 14. Otherwise the ruching just sagged. It gave a better sillouette with the midriff tighter - and hides some fluff as well. On the second dress I made, I added a contrasting hem cuff and neck band. click here
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I will sew it again as it is comfortable and was not too difficult to put together. It might be a case of "how many knit dresses do you need" though. I'm not sick of them yet so will keep sewing them - this one included.
I recommend it to others but advise you read the other reviews before you begin.
Both dresses are very pretty!

Nice job and beautiful fabric. I agree with you on order of construction. Big Four has trouble changing I guess.
