That skirt looks like a perfect basic, that you can wear again and again. The second version is also very flattering on you.

Great skirt. Thanks for this review. I've been curious to see this style made up- those rotated darts are very different. It looks like they are not so noticeable in your denim fabric?

Thanks everyone! @Sewingelle: The darts are very close to the bottom edge of my sweater in this pic, but you're right, they aren't so noticeable on the denim. They would be more defined on a medium weight solid colour, and in a lighter colour.
