| Pattern Description: misses' jeans
Pattern Sizing:14-20
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?not exactly
Were the instructions easy to follow?for the most part, very easy to follow
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?liked the various options presented in both fit and pants length
Fabric Used:black stretch denim
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:didn't put any rivets or belt carriers
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?well, I have another chosen view, but I may take a break from jeans for a while. Not sure if I would recommend it or not as it was more than a bit frustrating for me.
Conclusion: Nice pattern with enough options to please just about anyone. I thought I would have a slightly relaxed pair of jeans when I got done, instead I have a nice pair of black denim trousers - more relaxed than expected. However, I'm not 100% discouraged yet, just a little put off. I was unable to find rivets anywhere, so opted for square crystals and a simple but design....I don't think I need to attract any more attention to my butt than is necessary...lol. But overall, a pretty decent pattern to work with...just remember that they allow for 1" seam allowances (which might be where I messed up).
