Pattern Description: Close fitting knit dress with gathering and long and sleeveless options

Pattern Sizing:8-10-12-14 I cut size 12

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?yes!

Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes, they were pretty straightforward.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I really like this pattern. However, I had many problems making the dress due to my serger and the material. It seemed that my material (rayon knit from fabric mart) was too lightweight for my machine-my sewing machine kept trying to eat it and my coverstitches kept popping stitches. Of course, it could be that my machine just needed to go in to get adjusted. Also, next time I will use a softer material for the stay tape-it gets pretty scratchy.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:Next time, I will lower the neckline about 2 inches and NOT use bias tape to finish it-I only used that finishing method because it seemed to work best with my finicky sewing machine

This hopefully will allow me to just pull it on and off instead of using a snap in the back.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes, but with the mentioned modifications-and maybe in a solid color to highlight the gathers

Conclusion: Good pattern, bad, naughty machines!
