Looks great. Thats a bit naff having the facing flapping about. I attach the facing to the lining first before attaching to skirt. Got that from one of the bags I made lol

Fantastic skirt! How did I miss this pattern? I'm quite the sucker for nautical-inspired clothes and may just have to copy yours! Thanks for the note about the length - I'm 5'10" so, I'll definitely have to keep that in mind.

Might be a bit too sailor-y for you, but that would be so cute with a red blouse! ;) And ... your pattern provides you the opportunity to use plaid with bias plaid in the center like my OOP pattern (review) -- but you probably already figured that out :)
