Hey that pocket might have been flimsy on the bias, but it sure does make a nice touch on the the finished garment! Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I really think my DH would enjoy a nightshirt and this looks like it fits the bill. Welcome to Pattern Review!!!

Welcome to the sewing world! I just mentioned to my husband tonight that he could think about sewing something and he looked at me like I was wierd....I just figured if he liked to make things with wood....well, same principles! Great looking night shirt and nice fabric!

Love the fabric you chose for this project. Great call with the bias cut pocket--glad that interfacing could save it. One thing I've learned about Joann's cottons is that you have to wash and dry them at the most extreme temps they can take in order to get all of the shrinkage out before cutting into them. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your sewing!

I can't figure out the front either. Can you be more specific? Especially the facing. Mine is puckered a bit and doesn't seem to flip to the inside correctly.
