I think it turned out fine. A great basic top wearable with lots of bottoms. I hope you get the sizing sorted out with these patterns.

It's so frustrating when sizing is inconsistent from the same patternmaker! I have been burned, too, so now I take flat pattern measurements before I even trace out a size. Your top does look good to me, although it's tricky to see details on black fabric. Maybe you will warm up to it the more you wear it?
