|Pattern Sizing: I made the size small shirt. |
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were fairly easy to follow. Even though I have made 3 shirts like this with 3 different patterns, they were all about the same yet I still have the hard time with the collar. The illustrations could have been clearer.
Fabric Used: I used a cotton with a Hawaiian print. I bought 1 1/2 yards even though I said I only needed 1 1/4 yards but I was glad I did. I should have bought more to be able to match the pocket and just general place the pattern of the fabric better on the shirt.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes I would but I would be more conscious of matching patterns and probably get more fabric depending on the pattern.
Conclusion: I was able to sew this in 4 hours. Actually my son asked if I could make him one for the next day at 4pm. We headed to the store which took me an hour total there and back. After cutting out the pattern, fabric and sewing, I was done by midnight. But that also included a break for dinner and getting the kids to bed. Either way it was very easy and fast to put together.
