Pattern Description:
Loose-fitting, pullover top has front/back extending into sleeve variations and narrow hem. A: contrast front and back. A and B: side pleats. C: front extends into single layer tie ends (wrong side shows).
Pattern Sizing:
I made the Large version of View A
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, except for my terrible sewing job.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very straight forward directions, the cuts are pretty easy and it all fits together nicely. There is one directional error, with the pieces being mixed up in the diagram, but the shape of each piece is different enough that the mistake is obvious.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
It is a quick and easy pattern, everything fits properly.
For the silky jersey fabric I used, I think I would need to line the top, it is not so much see-through as it is "revealing". I am not sure if this would be an issue with a matte jersey fabric.
Fabric Used:
My knowledge of fabrics is only exacerbated because of the language issue (French) but I used a silky jersey fabric. I had no experience with this type of fabric, and so, it is all puckered up. I have some extra, so I will be practicing to get better results.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
No alterations or design changes.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I like the shape of the top, though I would shorten it next time as it comes to just about my knees as is!
Conclusion:
I think starting with this type of silky, slippery, jersey was too much of a challenge for me, next time, I will sew this in a matte jersey. The style is really cute though!
I've just bought this pattern and can't wait to make it. Seeing yours reminds me that years ago I had a dress like this, almost the same colors too.

Your thumbnail photo looks good. The colour blocking looks very effective. If you are able to add a larger project photo to your review that would be great!

I bought this pattern too. Color blocking is so in. I like the colors you used. Silk jersey is worth the extra trouble. Feels like butter on the skin.

LOVE the color blocking. I don't see any puckering...It looks like you did a great job.
