That really is cute. It the trim sewn on to the top of the fabric? More pictures close up would be more helpful so that we can see the details.

Thanks ladies! :) Yes, the trim is sewn on the top. My main idea was to first cut the fabric and stitch the two colors together but the black fabric was much thinner than the white and I thought it would be better to sew it on the skirt. There's one close-up photo of the skirt in the post, more coming up... :)
