I'm sorry to disillusion you, but you will still need that seam ripper after 45 years of sewing. Seriously, that's a really comfy looking pair of pants with the absolutely essential pockets. Great fitting job! Really, really great!

The pants look great and it looks like you chose the perfect fabric for them. They drape very nicely. And the color is a soft neutral that will probably match many items you already own.
