Becca, I got it locally in Sydney at The Fabric Store, and had no idea it originally came from Linton Tweed! It is possible as they source ex designer and end of roll fashion house fabrics. However Australia is so far from the UK. Thanks for letting me know.

NJ cowgirl, yes there were a few alterations, some just me being finicky, and in hindsight an easier way to fix the neck gaping may have been a simple square shoulder adjustment, something I've only just come to understand. However this approach worked and I plan to use the pattern as a TNT in future, so am happy with it as is. Thanks for your kind comments everyone.

Awesome dress! You put so much effort into it, no wonder it is lovely! Love hounstooth check, very classy. I see this dress with a crisp white dress shirt and mary jane pumps!:)
