Wow, I think they're great! My GD would love them. Hmmmmm, I wonder if I am up for just one more Christmas project....

I need to make a few of these to send to my neighbor wintering in Florida. She's got one in her house right now!

Darn, those are cute....I have admired this pattern many times, but I haven't been brave enough to try it. Now I know why - 16 toes to stitch around?!? Still, I thought it would be fun to make them in orange and blue for my DD and her friends in honor of their loyalty to the Univ of Florida Gators. But geez....16 toes?!?! Question: do you think it would work if I traced the pattern onto freezer paper and ironed that onto the fabric before I started stitching?

do you mean to transfer the markings? I'm not sure. I've never tried that, but it was pretty easy to just baste the tissue paper onto the fabric and follow the lines I traced. Just be ready to keep lifting and lowering that presser foot when going around the toes!
