Hi Kathy! A question for you -- I'm torn about what size to make. In one of your other bra pattern reviews, you link to a bra size calculator. That method (the, uh, "real" method) gives me a 32E (though a 32D is actually a better fit -- long story). But Beverly's method gives me a 36B. A RTW bra with a 36" in band would be wildly too big, but she keeps saying to trust her sizing method. The cup sizes are complimentary, so there's that, at least, but I just can't make myself cut into my fabric to make a 36" band that I think will be too big. So, what was your experience? Did you go with the "normal" way or her way, and what would you recommend based on your experience with the pattern?

Thanks! It is pretty to look at but I think I may have to give it away if I don't plan to stuff the cups with tissue :) I bet it would be pretty comfy if the fit was right. It's line almost completely with the man-made fabrics (powernet and duoplex.. which I think is a tricot??) so that's touching the skin.

It's very pretty. Sorry the fit isn't the best. Is a woven fabric bra comfortable? I've never worn one.
