I love this review. I think you should change your skill level to intermediate. Your review indicates that you are not a beginner. I enjoyed reading that you had the courage to try this. My measurements sometimes exceed the largest size given on patterns too. I am inspired after reading what you have done. Hang in there.

What a good review--and congratulations on making a "wearable" muslin. I agree about the cheapo fabrics--well worth the price for a trial garment, and you might end up with something good. Also, washing these fabrics is always recommended; one reason they can feel so nasty at first is all the sizing that's in there.
