	KathleenS said... The only reason the skirt pattern is pieced is to make it possible to cut it out of your typical narrow special occasion fabric. It's not a design element and you made the right call. Of course it would be nice if Simplicity told you that it could be eliminated in a wider fabric. Your niece chose a lovely unusual colour, and you made it into a pretty dress. It would be great to see a modelled shot if you can persuade her! 5/16/12 7:46 AM
