I think it's very cute and I really like your button (and piping?) detail.

Your top does not look boxy to me at all, it looks quite shapely! However, those two diagonal lines on either side pointing to your bust suggest to me that you may need a little more room there. Not quite a "full bust adjustment", just a tiny bit more room. The hint is when you said you pinched out a small amount at the armhole and transferred it to the bust dart. When you do that, you also need to add a little length to the front of the top to accomodate the roundness of your bust. I had to do this on my top. Otherwise the top is quite attractive on you and your sewing is very neat!

Your version of the Sorbetto looks lovely. It's both beautifully sewn and fitted.
