I actually have this pattern, so I've been studying your photo closely. Honestly, I don't think it's THAT bad. You certainly did good on shortening the sleeves - they look much better. I think part of the problem was the narrow shoulder adjustment. The pattern seems to have a slightly dropped shoulder by the drawing (although the version on the model doesn't look that way). I can't help but think getting the puckers out and a good press might save this, although I certainly understand being frustrated enough to toss it. Lovely color, and it looks like you at least got a nice pair of slacks out of the deal!
