Catherine, you call yourself an "advanced beginner", but all your smart decisions about the length and weight of the fabric lengthening the bodice should put you in the "intermediate" category, I think! The layout of the back of your dress is particularly stunning.

Oh, you are so Lady Penelope in that dress. Have Parker to wash the Rolls for wedding transit. How did you trace the pattern? Any pics of that?

Goodness, thank-you everyone for the kind comments! SavageCoco, I trace patterns with one of those serrated tracing wheels. Put the pattern on top of paper on a softish surface (carpet is good) and just run over the lines with the wheel.
