Oh! I love it. I have an old monkey pattern I got from somewhere that I could use with this. I think the tree is great.

Thanks! I'm just having some trouble coming up with the right sort of markers to use so they are visible on the tree trunk and I can write their heights/dates on. Maybe worms and butterflies?

Love this and your idea of adding height using something brown as the mound of dirt at the bottom - Worms and butterflies that is clever!!

This looks fun! I really like the idea of using butterflies or caterpillars, or other things that would "land" on the tree as markers!
