I'm only 4 years late commenting on this review which I find very helpful! I have this pattern next in queue and reading the reviews. I love what you did with the sleeves here. The sleeves are huge on the pattern! I only bought it because I wanted the "holes" in the sleeves but I don't want those huge sleeves. I hope I can come even near the flattering look you got! Wish me luck.

Good luck! It's a nice little pattern with some love. : )

I really like this - flattering, but simple and casual at the same time! Well done :-)

Thanks rivergum...no I thought initially I should have narrowed the sleeves. Since then I've found out from wearing it that you need that extra in the sleeve. I think if you narrow the sleeve, it becomes a wearability issue because you can't reach for things (or reach your arms out) when you wear it. I lucked out somewhat with this because I probably would have taken some of the width out and found out afterwards when wearing that this wasn't a good idea. My oversight initially worked in my favor for once..hee hee.

This top looks great, a real eye catcher. Did you narrow the sleeves as well as shorten them?
