I love the colors and the skirt. I have this pattern so may need to give it a try. I like the idea of morphing the two.

Love the look of the skirt. Looks like you chose the correct size, the fit looks perfect. (Like the top also.) I have that fabric made up in a top and I agree it wears and wears.
