Thanks for reminding me to make this pattern again. It looks so good on your curvy shape. You could try pinning both vertically and horizontally to see which helps most with your little puddle of fabric. You might need a little less in both directions. Make it again!

Me again. Re:fit, seems like you have narrow shoulders or back, maybe swayback (the lower-back fabric puddle) and you are a pear shape. To narrow shoulders, say, on a shirt with a collar ie that has the full shoulder line, I just take a crescent out of the armscye from the shoulder, tapering to nothing by the time I reach the sleeve notches/lower armscye. Hope this helps. (The book would def be a good investment, too!)
