I like your fabric print. Maybe try this in a more drapey knit and not a cotton?

Quilting cotton is such a double edged sword; I'm never happy with the results but they make it so darn cute that it can be difficult to resist! I love your use of pearl snaps. They seem to work very nicely with your fabric and for some reason I always hate making button holes
