I just made this as well, out of a Joann's home dec remnant "muslin" - I got lots of compliments on the unusual style. I'm also planning on the next version out of better fabric!

Don't you hate that: do all the topstitching & it hardly shows! Why did the thread melt from the iron? I didn't follow that part of your review.

I donīt know why the tread melted, itīs supposed to vanish with water and maybe it has something to do with the chemicals itīs made of
