Excellent review. I was just in the Kate spade store this week and saw basic tops just like this in silk prints for 200$:)

Thanks for reviewing the pattern. Sounds as though a lot of attention to detail has been given by the designer/drafter. I enjoyed reading your blog post about sewing the top. (Actually, I've enjoyed reading many of your blog "essays"/posts/entries/whatever-they're-called.)
