Pattern Description: Child's dress, top, pants, bag, and hair accessory
Pattern Sizing: child 3 - 8, I made size 3
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes and mine is cuter
Were the instructions easy to follow?Very simple!!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I love the size range included in the pattern! I bought it to make this for my niece but can also make it for my two daughters
Fabric Used:Quilter cotton from Hancocks
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:None
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?I have already sewn it again and plan on at least 2 more times! Highly recommend!
Conclusion: Great pattern! This is adorable layered on top of shirts and fits great! I plan on adding a ruffle to jeans for her to wear next year. Can get long wear out of this style of top/dress!

gneebee said... I love it! Your niece is the perfect little model. I have this pattern but haven't yet sewn it for my granddaughters. I was curious about how well the Hancock quilter's cotton holds up with laundering. Also... does it wrinkle badly when worn? 11/29/12 9:43 AM

It does not wrinkle up when worn and washes great! The cheaper fabrics from Hancocks don't always do what I'd like though...get what you pay for. 11/29/12 12:42 PM
