Great dress! FYI- pattern sizes and rtw sizes are very different- I wear a 2 in off the rack, but an 8-10 in patterns.

Sconnell1 is right, I think patterns are sized closer to vintage clothing sizes. You know you always hear that Marilyn Monroe was an 8/10? She would probably be a 2 in today's ready to wear. The most important thing to consider when selecting the size, is the FINISHED GARMENT MEASUREMENTS. They are typically printed on the pattern pieces. In the picture it looks beautiful, sorry it doesn't fit!

the sad thing is I matched the finished measurements but since I gained weight after the baby-didnt fit :( I forgot to add that I only used a yard of fabric. I took my time matching each piece but i'm always frugal with fabric and i'm not in a hurry so I like to get my moneys worth.
