Looks gorgeous! If you use horsehair braid to hem it instead of bias tape, you'll get a better and more fab "kick out" to help maintain the look of the full skirt. This is what they use on wedding dresses. Go to Gert's blog for a tutorial: http://www.blogforbettersewing.com/2010/06/magic-of-horsehair-braid-little.html It makes a HUGE difference. And keep on sewing!

Going to attempt to make this dress with mums help! my measurments are 41 bust high bust 39 waist 34 so that's sizing me up to a 18-20.. Worried by reviews the dress is going to be way to big and should I have brought smaller pattern.. Are the final garment measurements similar to the sizes it give you.?
